Lucille Fay LeSueur but known as Joan Crawford was born in San Antonio, Texas to Thomas LeSueur and Anna Belle Johnson on the 23th, of March in 1905. Joan parents were separated before she was born. She had a hard life growing up by the time she reached her teenaged years; Joan had worked several unskilled jobs, and had a few stepfathers. Joan entered dancing contest after contest, she was strong-minded and with great determination it took her all the way to Hollywood, “Miss Joan Crawford.” She adopted four children and was also married for times during her lifespan. By the year 1930 Joan Crawford had converted over to being one of the most prevalent stars at MGM.
