The Mongols had many influences on the outside world like alcohol, the kite, the compass, and many more. The Silk Road a huge part of their influence, the inventions that were made in Mongolia were transported and shipped to either Europe or Asia. But they were spread further than just Europe and Asia, they were a impact on the whole world. Alcohol was a huge influence on the Irish and Americans who are known for their famous beers, whisky, and wineries. The kite was inpact in America when Benjamin Franklin used a kite for experiments with lightning. We all know some inventions that the Mongols had made an impact with and most of them are positive. But there were more than the inventions. The empire that was built upon one ruler, Genghis Khan. …show more content…
Alcohol, for example, had a big impact in Ireland and the United States. Ireland came up with various types of flavored beers and the United States created whiskey and wineries. The kite was used in many of Benjamin Franklin’s experiments and is used for fun all over the world. Earthquake detectors were later made into seismographs. The majority of the inventions were used for the benefit for society. The Mongol empire lasted for 162 years. Once Genghis Khan died, the Empire started to gain more land. But after Genghis Khan’s son succeeded him and died the empire went downhill from there. Genghis Khan’s grandson later became ruler of the empire some of the land that was apart of the empire was given up. He did not wisely control the army, but he did control it nevertheless. This was the downfall of the Mongol Empire. Even though there wrere ups and downs of the empire the inventions, the unity, and the strength from the empire made a huge impact on the world. These are benefits that changed the way we look at everyday life. The compass, earthquake detectors, alcohol, and others came from Mongolian inventors. Other inventors used these inventions for their own experiments. Over all these inventions, expansions, and other things that came from Mongolia and expanded all over the
