Mount Everest is the highest mountain on Earth. It is located in the Mahalangur mountain range in Nepal. The summit is 8,848 meters from the center of the Earth. Many have tried to climb the beast mountain. Some have succeeded but some have also failed. But the mountain still attracts many climbers or mountaineers to this day. The people who love climbing mountains are called mountaineers. They can be professional or amateurs but as long as they love climbing mountains, they will make Everest their goal. Most people hire professional guides to climb Mt. Everest. It is a very expensive mountain climbing trip. There are two main ways to reach the top of the mountain.

It is 3,776 meters high. People who have experienced climbing Mt. Fuji say that it is a wonderful experience and a good challenge. Although it is not as high as Mt. Everest, Mt. Fuji can also be dangerous. The mountain looks beautiful from afar with its snow top. But during the season when climbers are allowed to climb, there is no actual snow on the mountain. In fact it is not recommended for people to climb the mountain during winter because of the harsh weather. During the season when climbers are allowed to climb, they will still feel cold winds and are asked to wear winter jackets. In some days, there are possibilities of thunder storms. In those cases, climbers are asked to cancel and descend the mountain. Since Mt. Fuji is still a volcano, some people are even advised to check the volcanic activity news. Nonetheless, if everything goes well, you are set to go! The most popular plan to climbing the mountain is going until the half point and then camping in the middle. People then wake up early in the morning and start for the summit. They do this so that they can reach the top by sunrise. Everest may be the highest mountain on Earth, but Annapurna is considered the most dangerous one. Annapurna I Main is a mountain which is part of the Annapurna massif. It is located in the Himalayas, north-central Nepal. The peak is over 8,000 meters high. The Annapurna massif has about thirteen peaks which are over 7,000 meters and sixteen more that are over 6,000 meters high. For this reason many climbers have been attracted to the different peaks of the Annapurna massif. But what makes Annapurna more dangerous than Mt. Everest? According to statistics and history, for every 100 climbers there were 32 who have died. These are mainly because of the snowstorms, sudden avalanches, and extreme weather conditions. In fact one of the worst climbing disasters happened recently. In 2014, at least 39 people were killed on Annapurna I. It is now considered as Nepal's worst mountain climbing disaster. The sudden snowstorm caused avalanches that killed the mountain climbers. They were buried under snow and froze to death. The government tried to help the mountain climbers by sending helicopters on the mountain and look for survivors. Sadly, the helicopter is only limited to a certain height. Although people know the danger of the Annapurna massif, it is that danger that will keep people climbing the mountain. It is the challenge that makes them
