Moving to Michigan? Leaving your life behind is one of the hardest things a person can go through. This never happened to me, but in my 4 year old brain it sure did. I was born in Clearwater, Florida and lived there until I was 4 years old. I loved it there, too. The nice weather that gets way too hot way too often, the greenery on every corner, the houses in my neighborhood were nice and luxurious. Mine is a one story home with a pool in the backyard. All the houses in Florida do not have a basement, which is a huge safety hazard, taking into account all of the tropical storms and hurricanes that occur there every single year. My older sister, Thayna, and my younger sister, Molly, as well as myself all loved nature and just simply being outside and in the pool. In Florida it's always warm so we can be in the pool everyday if we want to. Sometimes we even used it when the water was turning brown. My grandparents on both sides of my family both lived within walking distance of us so we would walk to their houses a few times a week. It was a wonderful day. We moved out of Florida. Before I ever went to school, I never went to preschool. So I didn’t make friends that way. However, there were kids my age in the neighborhood and I ended up befriending them. Also, I made friends at church. I played with them basically everyday, having a great time because they lived right around the corner. I thought that I could live this life forever. But all good things come to an end. When my dad told me and my sisters the news that he got a new job. We were happy for him until we learned of a new piece of information.
