Mr. Erlich Anthony Coker was serving a multiple life sentencing in a Georgia prison for rape, murder, assault, and kidnapping. In 1974 Mr. Erlich Coker escaped prison and during the course of his escaped from prison Mr. Erlich Coker committing an armed robbery and other offenses, raped an adult woman. Mr. Erlich Coker was captured and found guilty of all charges. The Mr. Erlich Coker case was most famous because during the time when Mr. Erlich Coker case was being prosecuted a jury sentenced him to death for the second raped, he was accused of committing but the Supreme Court of Georgia sustained Coker's death sentence. In 1977 the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the verdict and stated Mr. Erlich Coker should be punished for the crimes he was accused of committing. Mr. Erlich Coker had a son name Eric Lee Coker born on February 7th, 1973. Mr. Eric Coker was similar to his Mr. Erlich Coker. Mr. Eric Coker was convicted on August 24th, 2007 for the accused crime of three counts of statutory rape and two counts of indecent liberty with a child. Statutory rape which is a felony means sexual activity in which at least one person is below the age required to legally consent to the behavior.
