In the novel Mister Pip Lloyd Jones the characters were both dynamic and static. Mr watts was a static character which he second wife grace was a dynamic character. Mr watts was very static and unpredictable he was real mysterious about things because he was the only one left on the island. He tried to teach the people on the island about the great expectations he read everyday.
Grace- she was very dynamic she stayed the same as she was with mr. watts and stayed on buquamine. She stayed loyal and did what he had to do to live here like. The village ended up getting destroyed and the school had a st back from that.
Daniel from the novel was one of reasons mr watts died, he also was there to even witness it.
When soldiers arrive and see mr watts dead they then ask daniel if he knows who killed him and he raises his hand and then they kill him because they didn’t know if he did it or not. Matilda’s mother stealing the great expectations book is what really caused all the actions and people went brazy and wanted to get revenge and kill and that’s exactly what happen when people found out who did it and what really went down in bouganville village.
So the rebels end up talking to matilda and her mother about who took the book and they refuse to give up the info and then they get mad and blow everything down and bomb the whole village leaving nothing but burned houses.
