Trickery and Deceit

The play Much Ado About Nothing, is a comedy that was written by William Shakespeare. The play has many trickery and deceit that was made to make two couples fall in love with each other. Thier names were Beatrice, Benedick, Claudio, and Hero. Claudio and Hero were the couple that had given the idea to Prince of tricking Beatrice and Benedick to falling in love, with the help of Leonato and Claudio. Both Beatrice and Benedick are bachelors which they do not want to marry or fall in love with anyone. The plan was to get each other alone to have them hear about how the other person loves one of the other secretly. This was planned but were not encountering the problems that Don John was going to give Claudio and Hero. Claudio had fallen in love with a young lady which her name is Hero, the daughter of Leonato. Prince has suggested his offered his help to woo Hero pretending to be Claudio in the ball dance which will make her fall in love with Claudio. Benedick has been confessed that he will win the heart of Beatrice and show Prince, Claudio, and Leonato that he has gentleman material to have and keep a lady. Leonato has said,” By the troth, my lord…it is past the infinite of thought,”(2.3.107-109) Quote discusses that Leonato’s niece is in love with Benedick and she will be in love with him forever even at nights. Benedick has fallen in the trap that they have had to make Benedick fall in love with Beatrice, which Beatrice has no feelings for Benedick at this time. At this point Benedick has emotions going threw his heart which makes him joy that he has found
