My favorite scene in this episode is when the woman with the super nose goes into a smell lineup and tries to find the murder suspect by sniffing them out. The scene starts out with a long shot of the room showing the four men in the lineup. The camera then tracks to the right and there is another long shot of the room with Beckett and the nose woman. The camera then changes to a medium closeup of the nose woman as she is entering the lineup area and then quickly changes to a shot of Beckett’s reaction and back to the nose woman. Right before the woman starts to smell the suspects, there is a long shot of the room showing the woman taking her nose plug out and Beckett standing in the background. As she sniffs the suspect, there is an action reaction shot where the camera immediately changes from the disgusted face of the nose woman to Beckett’s reaction and back to the nose woman. The camera shoots a medium closeup of the nose woman smelling her last suspect in the lineup and then the camera pans left to show a closeup of the last suspect shaking his head. Throughout the whole scene there are no words spoken. There is this Mission Impossible like music that is playing while the woman is sniffing the suspects. This was the funniest scene from the whole episode. When the nose woman and Castle first meet, she is trying to get rid of him outside of her apartment. Since she has super smelling abilities, she does not let anyone in her apartment. The camera shoots a medium closeup shot/reverse shot of Castle and the nose woman. The camera alternates between the two of them as they are talking. Finally she allows him to go into her apartment only if he gets decontaminated.
