This incident depicts many unfair and discriminatory practices among each of these Muslim women. As seen in the article, each three hate crimes can be categorize as Religious discrimination . Religious discrimination involves treating a person unfavorably because of his or her religious beliefs, in which these perpetrator's took action in. For example, the women who was attacked in the parking lot of San Diego University was not only attacked but the man stole her car keys and stole her vehicle, which was later reported missing (Kunzelman, 2016). As humans we all have perceptions and stereotypes about specific people or groups. Muslims are usually stereotyped and viewed as terrorist, even though we know that's not true. Also, ever since Donald Trump ran for president and shared some of his prejudice against Muslims, his supporters started acting out because they feel the same way. I believe these stereotype's will forever be perceived upon Muslims unless the minds of American citizens changed for the best. For example, the article explains how some of these random and innocent Muslim women are attack for no reason, they wasn’t even bothering a soul. This demonstrates how people express hatred toward Muslims because of what they stereotype them to be. The women who are the victims and the white men who are the attacker's. These relations are caused by tension because of the perpetrator's feelings toward a certain group or
