Defining Moments During the course of one’s life, there are several significant occasions that the person had experienced that changed the perspective of that person. This can be defined as a defining moment. A key defining moment that occurred in my past was when my little sister was born, and I realized that I would be spending a long period of time with her. One other occasion that altered my perspective as an individual is when I went on my first thrilling rollercoaster. Another event that defines my life as it is today is when I moved to Milton, and transferred to P.L.Robertson Public School. These important experiences allowed me to be the person I am to this day. A few months after my fourth birthday, my parents announced that my mother was pregnant. They explained that there will be a younger child joining the family, and I got excited, hoping it would be a baby boy. On November the 16th, 2005, the baby was born. Later that night, my parents tried to come up with a name, and finally settled on Co Co. I became confused, as it sounded like a girl’s name, so I asked my mother about it. I realized that the baby brother I have been waiting months for, was actually a baby sister. At that point, I was disappointed and refused to accept her as a family member. The earliest key defining moment that I remember that ocurred in my life is when my sister was born, and I learnt to acknowledge her existence. The next one is when I finally faced my fear of roller coasters and rode Dragon Mountain. Another key defining moment was when I transferred to P.L. Robertson Public School and met new people and eventually, made best friends.
