I believe National Honors Society would be an important part of my life because it will help me make time to help the community. I were to be accepted into NHS, it would force me to get more active in helping others. One thing that never fails to make me feel good is helping out people who need it.
Despite most students, I enjoy school. I like to work hard in my classes and see how it pays off, in the end when, I get my final grade. My favorite thing about school is when I score above average in the class on a test. I am the person that you go to when you do not understand a homework question, because I always have my homework done on time. Something else I love is when i’m explaining something to someone and I see them start to understand it. That makes me feel like I am doing something right, it always cheers me up.

I am not afraid to share an opinion and also not afraid of speaking out. My leadership qualities are best expressed while I am playing sports. I am not afraid to take charge of the team and tell them what need to happen. When the team is at a loss of momentum I am not worried about what people will say to me when I tell them we need to step it up. Also, leadership comes when people have trust in you, so it can take a while but I make sure to gain people’s trust.
My favorite way to help people is probably not surprising. I love helping anyone improve in sports. I constantly am helping out young volleyball teams because I love seeing when someone achieves their goal over time. Another thing I enjoy doing is small things like picking up trash in the road, bringing my neighbors trash cans in off the street for them, and eve the smallest thing like doing the dishes for my mom. When i was in 9th grade I used to go to Mae Stacker Park and walk the trail and clean it and also, I would pick up trash left on the playgrounds by the
