This past summer, I had the chance to work at Bryn Mawr College for SIG (Summer Institute for the Gifted) Summer Camp for gifted children from the ages of 6-8. My role at the summer camp was being a teacher assistant. My job many roles which included such as being a positive leader for students and teachers by creating small groups for students who having trouble with the lesson, taking attendance, need to walk with students to another classroom or walking the whole group of students to the cafeteria with the help of two other teaching assistants.
