Have you ever heard of a teen activist? Do you know what a teen activist is? All teen activists have a passion and want to change the world. A teen activist is somebody who stands up for what they believe and someone who gets motivated to change the world. For example, Malala Yousafzai, Alex Libby, and Faye Carey are all teen activists.

My first teen activist is a nineteen year old girl named Malala. She is from Pakistan and she had a belief that every girl should be in school. ´´Our aim, our dream is to educate people.``-Malala. In the book Who is Malala Yousafzai, Malala's passion is learning and when schools were getting shut down and fewer girls were going to school this upset her. When Malala heard this, She got motivated to do something about this and this made people angry. The article by Kristin Lewis, Malala The Powerful, says that on October 9, 2012 Malala was shot in the head on a bus. Something that surprises people about Malala is that she stayed alive after the shot. This is because, when Malala got shot it did not hit the brain.
