Another matter for my personal development was my involvement as a team player. In the previous years, I didn’t have the chance to work as a team player, as the education was mostly concentrated in the individuals. Therefore, when one of the assignments required to identify a team role, there was confusion in my part, as I couldn’t identify a dominant role. Firstly, there are nine types of Team Roles acknowledged by Meredith Belbin (Boddy, 2014). By completing the test, there were three roles, with almost equal votes. The first was co-ordinator, with main characteristics maturity, confidence and manipulation. The other two were shaper (challenging, dynamic) and finisher (painstaking, anxious).
