My Musical Piece: Music Analysis

My musical piece is hip hop inspired, and I choice to do a hip-hop piece because that is my favorite genre of music. I first started composing the piece around a steady tempo snare drum that I used as a baseline. The main beat is mostly F sharp and I added a disc jockey scratch to give it a more urban melody. The intro starts off with a woodwind instrument and five seconds into the song the tempo speeds up and the main beat starts. I created the introduction to add a dramatic dynamic variation to the piece. I have each downward beat after a brief pause, and added a bell to help divide each segment of the continuous harmony. The piece has a constant rhythm and in my opinion a person would be able to dance to the song. Analia Montoya piece
