In my life span of seventeen years, reading and writing was only available to me through school. Never did I bring a book home to read or take some time to practice some of the writing I had learned that day. My parents never brought me the materials that I needed, but instead they wanted me to reach them and of course I did not extend my arms for the books. I chose a big flat screen over books, so now reading and writing is as tedious as a lecture from history class. Through my experience as a student for twelve years I had many challenges with different topics, but with amazing teachers helping me solve these problems I could finally understand.
