Introduction Personal project is a way for students in the MYP program to show what they have learned and accomplished while being in the program. The project also allows for student to use the skills they have improved while being in the MYP program to achieve something they truly are connected to. The first step to complete the personal project was to brainstorm on the topics most interesting to me. The topic I first chose was to write a book on Indian culture and religion by my experiences in India. This was a very good idea because it allowed me to connect with myself and my culture. My thinking skills were improved throughout the project as it was needed for me to take the information received from website and pull out the important informations. This requires my thinking skill to let get the important information. I improved my communication and social skills and it can be seen throughout my project. It can be seen in my process journals, my research, and can also be seen in my product. The classes will allow me to help out in the kitchen. It would also let me do the cooking instead of avian my grandmother do it when my mother is not present. They can come in handy when my time comes to go to college. It will allow me to be able to make food for myself. It can also help even in emergencies when I am away from home. The skill that were improved through this project will also help me. Organization skills will allow me to neat; research will help me in school; self-management skills will help me in the time of adulthood; and thinking skills will help me throughout my whole life allowing me to look outside the box rather than what can just be
