Tracks by Louise Erdrich is an interesting read due to how the novel is written. Not only is their two narrators, but the narrators tell a story about a woman named Fleur who’s life is very gripping. The two narrators are named Nanapush and Pauline Puyat who both have very different motives. Nanapush, a wise elder trying to protect his culture and Pauline a young girl trying to escape her culture. Nanapush tells the story as a grandfather to his granddaughter, meanwhile Pauline uses her own personal story and provides a second perspective on some of the stories Nanapush described. From sending her daughter Lulu away to a government school, to getting beaten and raped by a bunch of men, Fleur has a lot of difficult moments in her life. Nanapush
