Middle school is a tough time for many people, both socially and probably physically. Elementary friendships tend to split, while new ones grow. Along with growing, puberty tends to start somewhere in those three years in middle school and you turn into the awkward sweaty teen you are today. For me, middle school was complicated. I disliked many people and openly expressed it with little to no regret. I never hurt anyone physically though, just rude comments every now and again when certain kids looked my way or talked to me. I still do that every now and again, but its more snarky than rude. But because of the behavior I had in middle school, I didn’t have many friends that I could easily talk to about homework, school, and other activities. I was more of a lone wolf with a few friends, but nothing much. In seventh grade, I did make a few friends, one of which being a nice, quiet girl named Myia Canty. But oh no, I have proof that Betsy was a pretty cruel person. One day, I was working on a little letter holder out of wood. I had to use the jigsaw, which is a scary thing in my opinion. Since my hands are smaller than most, I had to hold wood a certain way that was closer to the blade. Plus, the machine is very loud, and I hate loud noises. So, I was needless to say, tense while working with this machine and doing my best not to get my fingers clipped by the running blade. I guess Betsy needed something from me, so she decided to scare the living daylights out of me by slapping a hand to my shoulder to get my attention. I ended up breaking the blade on the jigsaw because I had jerked the wood to the right. And I also ruined my project, which I covered in red paint and glue. She was laughing while I was furious. I could have gotten hurt because she wasn’t thinking. What if I did hurt my hand? I bet she would laugh anyway. I’ll be
