On a scorching hot summer day in San Diego, the sun was finally setting with its brilliant rays of gold disappearing behind the withered trees. Kids immediately began to slowly come out of their small old homes and gathered at the largest park we had in the neighborhood. We had a large group around 25-30 kids. I however, was one of the younger kids and I was 10 years old and my friends were a year or two older than me, but I was one of the stealthier. So everyone knew what game we were playing tonight and knowing us, it was obviously a really fun game. We called the game Manhunt, it was pretty much team tag, but with a cooler name. I hid between two trash cans and heard the taggers get to zero. I saw one of them pass me going to the tire swing park and one to the basketball court. That’s mainly were the larger groups hang out and discuss plans to avoid the taggers. I moved out of my hiding spot heading to the baby park quietly. I heard screams of terror and I knew that some people had been caught. When I finally got to the park I saw a large group of my best friends.
