The Red Truck

Moe and AJ are not your normal brother and sister duo. Ever since their Mom died back in 2009 they became closer than ever. Their Dad, Jade, always made sure they had what they wanted and made sure to keep them happy at any cost. " Wake up ugly!" was all Moe said to his older sister AJ. " Shut up rat!" was the best comeback AJ had while getting up and heading to the bathroom. Moe was a boy and he was a couple years younger than his older sister AJ. Once both AJ and Moe were dressed and ready for school they headed out to walk to their bus stop and start the long day the had ahead of them.

The second they made it they unlocked their house door and ran inside locking and slamming the door behind them. They were soon greeted by their father yelling “ Don't be slammin’ my- Moe! AJ! What happened? Are y’all okay?” AJ began to explain what happened breathlessly because of all the running. “ Did you guys get a good look at him? We have to call the police!” Moe replied by saying “ AJ did something better, she got a picture of his license plate Dad.” He then told his children to go upstairs and get cleaned up while he got the picture off AJ's phone and contacted the police department and explained what happened and how the truck looked. He was very proud of his daughter and how she made sure her brother was safe. When they came back downstairs he hugged them and thanked God that AJ was bold enough to fight the man back even though he could’ve ended her life with a simple bullet.
After the incident that occurred More and AJ's Dad made sure he picked up his son and daughter from the bus stop every afternoon. One evening while doing homework AJ saw that the man that strived to kidnap her brother was arrested and off the streets. She was thankful that the man driving the red truck couldn't harm any other kids on their way walking
