My charm shows the conflict between Moose, the main character, and his sister Natalie. In the book, Natalie is separated from Moose and she starts to feel like she is not welcome anymore in the family and she is mad at Moose. This is shown by a bar spreader seperating two hearts, the two hearts are Moose and Natalie’s. When Moose comes to visit Natalie, she says, ““Peoples are mad at Moose,” she says.” This quote shows how Natalie thought that she was never coming back home and was never going to be with her family again. The bars going vertically down the charm are representing the jail cells that prisoners are kept in. Also the number 85 represents Al Capone's number. The charm is in the shape of a button to represent Natalie's button collection.
