Natchez Burning is the first book in the Natchez Burning trilogy— which also includes The Bone Tree and Mississippi Blood— written by, Greg Iles. Iles does an amazing by adding complex and intriguing facts of history, and fiction, making the book fall under the following genres: historical fiction, thriller, mystery. Natchez Burning, is an incredible phenomenon that combines crimes, lies, and secretive pasts and presents in an enticing thriller/suspense, that features main character, Penn Cage, who is a southern lawyer and former prosecutor.

Norris charges the couples a fee and he records all the interactions in a book log he keeps hidden within his store.
