While manmade and natural disasters are occurring and taking all public attention NFL players are taking a knee during the National Anthem, to protest racial injustice and police brutality in the United States. Since that time, many other professional football players, high school athletes, and professional athletes in other sports have refused to stand for the national anthem. The only reason the players are doing this is to get a point across or to get more attention to the subject. Most NFL players who perform this act has gotten many players kicked off the team which has ruined their life , because most players used their career as fun and their life.
