The National Anthem and Flag in the USA represents the pride in our country, veterans, and freedoms in this great country. So why are professional athletes kneeling and showing disrespect to the flag? Nearly every family member knows someone in the military, either currently serving or a veteran. These people are true heroes because they provide the safety and freedom that many of us take for granted every day in our country. I believe players and owners who kneel for the National Anthem are showing major disrespect to our country and all military personnel, especially those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. These athletes, who make millions of dollars, need to voice their issues somewhere else- not when they are wearing the football
