I am honored to have been selected along with the other eligible scholars to apply for this great program here at Keystone High School. Being a good student has always been something that I have worked hard at and taken pride in. I have always admired those who have had the privilege of being inducted into this program, with hopes that I would one day be able to call myself a member of National Honor Society.
Maintaining good grades has always been my number one priority throughout my schooling career. My main focus has always been school work regardless of what was going on. As I have mentioned in the previous paragraph I am involved in many activities outside of school. Being a part of these programs has taught me and has allowed me to practice great leadership and life skills. I can proudly say that I have never got in any sort of trouble over my years in school. I believe that following the rules makes school an easy and fun environment and that it falls under the category of being a good student. I always try my very hardest to get along with everyone and be there as a support system for anyone that needs it. Although getting along with everyone can often be difficult I don’t let it show if I don’t agree with someone’s values or actions. I believe that this is an important skill to have in order to live a happy peaceful life, because I understand that I will not be able to be friends with everyone and that is okay. Being nice to everyone is so much more easier than wasting all of your energy being unpleasant. In addition to getting along with everyone I care about others and what they have to say, As I have mentioned before my intentions are always good and always meant to be helpful. Adding on to having a good and well rounded character I also believe that I am a good leader. Ever since the second grade I have been involved in some sort of a cheerleading program. I believe that being apart of these programs have really helped to teach me what it takes to be a good, and positive leader. I consider a good leader to be someone that is always leading in a positive manner and is open for new ideas and growth. As a leader I work through and around adversities and never let them stop me.
