I have participated in many activities and clubs during my high school career. These activities have helped define my personality and my personal beliefs. They have also taught me many important skills that I hope will allow me to be successful in my college career and beyond.

Cheerleading has always been my passion in life as I have participated on a competitive team for the past eleven (11) years. During that time, my teams won numerous regional titles, eight (8) national titles, and two (2) world championships. I also participated all four (4) years on my high school cheer team and was honored and humbled to be selected senior cheer captain due to the leadership I contributed to the team. This responsibility taught me how to lead the squad of twenty four (24) girls by example as it helped me realize the importance of establishing and setting high standards for the team.

FFA has increased my knowledge of the world around me, introducing me to how agriculture has bettered the world we live in. This club has taught me many valuable skills. Student Congress has encouraged me to attend more school events such as volleyball and basketball games. This organization has also helped me contribute to keeping the school beautiful, encouraging trash pickup days and stay days where the whole school stays on campus for lunch. FCA has allowed me to share my faith with others with weekly bible studies, many of those I have gotten to lead. Each of these organizations have increased my involvement with my peers within the student body while also teaching me skills such as leadership, communication, and time
