The four pillars of National Honor Society -- scholarship, service, leadership, and character shaped me into the strong woman I am today. As I look back at my years in NHS, I consider leadership to be my strong suit, but all the four pillars have played into that. For example, I was vice-president of my freshman and sophomore class as well as Student Council representative. With all these responsibilities, I was expected to step up and guide all my peers with my best ability. Although, without the commitment to learn new things like the scholarship pillar, I would not of known how to be a better leader like I am today.
