I would be an excellent member of National Junior Honor Society for the reason that, I possess all the Solanco expectations which are, respect, courage, kindness, and responsibility. Furthermore, I have had a 4.0 GPA all throughout my high school career so I take great pride in my work. I also have put in plenty of hours in helping out the community, which I love doing the most. I keep doing Ophelia Day, which is where kids from the elementary and middle school that have some type of disability come to the high school and we have a fun-filled day of games and activities for the students.What I enjoy most about this day is that those kids leave with a smile on their face and they are feeling better about themselves than what they did when they …show more content…
Being in Link Crew I am able to guide the freshmen with their school work and some of their struggles that they may have in their social life.I understand that this is important considering; I am impacting someone that looks up to me in a positive way and not a negative way. I have built friendships from being a person that they can come to for anything and I think because of this it makes Solanco have a positive atmosphere. Additionally, I have gone to many meetings where they have taught us about problem solving so I feel that I am also skilled in problem solving too.For example, there was a group of about 20 people, and we had to organize ourselves in order from our birthday month and day without talking. I also had taken the lead and assisted people in the places that they should be at.If I am selected to become a member of the National Junior Honor Society, I will be dedicated and a hardworking member.
