It is unbelievable that this is my last year at Roberts Middle School. As I look back at the past two years, there were several miserable moments when I was struggling with my classes and would have given up trying to achieve my goals. However as an industrious student, I chose to endure those moments. Which is how I became an outstanding student today. National Junior Honor Society honors students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. Being nominated to become a member of the National Junior Honor Society is a highly prestigious honor, and I am very grateful to be a candidate.To be selected for induction into an organization of such excellence and high standard is not only an honor, but a privilledge.

I am faithful consistently, I am always positive and am said to be overly ‘bubbly’. One of my peers once told me that she is bisexual and I told her that she is extremely brave and that she is truly a beautiful person and no one should tell her otherwise. That friend still comes to me for advice. Compassion comes easily to me. I think good about myself and think of everyone else ten times better. To me there is no “perfect person”, we are all the same. Those are also my views on racism, it should never be funny to belittle and discriminate someone’s religion for so many reasons. Finally, determination is my strong suite. I believe in everything and everyone, whenever someone is upset I immediately have to fix the problem and will not rest until I do. I love to talk to others and get their opinions to add onto my own. Even if I am not selected for induction, I will try to maintain the same high standard of
