Native American Uncivilization Summary

After several reading, providing details of numerous numbers of different Native American tribe across North America. Majority of stories recognized occurred pre-columbus and the genocide and “colonization” of European settlers. But, after observing each story I begin to realize these settlers did not realize how advance Native Americans really were, because in an average high school textbook they describe Native Americans as uncivilized, and “savages”. Not getting full benefits of the natural resources that surrounded them, but yet Native American would use every part of a resource to prevent wasting the product. Also it quite fantastic how connected tribes were to another as they had trade routes all across North America, this allowed making trades for tribes easier.

Like it is amazing how gems, and resources only found in a certain continent would travel from South to North America and be traded for another gem only found in a selected area. I believe this is the reason tribes can be found to be similar even if they are across the country, because I believe as a tribe would travel they would meet and stay with different number of tribes and they would share and connect with one another while they are on travel.
But yet, it is irritating when foreign people would say North America was uncivilized, or even unclaimed yet, there was millions of people who occupied this Nation as their home. Also it is known that pre-columbus Native American were disease free due to their healthy living and eating habits. So what beneficial product did these settlers honestly provide beside horses? Diseases, destruction to the wildlife that provided so much to the people who occupied this great land, and Christianity which played a huge role in the genocide that took part on Native
