The topic of whether nature or nurture has more impact on the development of mental and physical traits of humans is heavily debated. The nature side is what biologically influences a person’s traits (such as blood type) while the nurture side is the environmental factors that influences their traits. In my opinion, nature and nurture both play equally important roles; however, in some instances they have unequal contributions to certain traits. For example, I am a very self-motivated student. If there is extra work that can be done I never hesitate to do it. Ever since I was in preschool my parents have pushed me to go above and beyond in my schoolwork.
