Synergy is how companies collaborate with other companies to advertise and sell their products. NBCUniversal uses synergy to promote their properties by collaborating with different independent producers to help them put their show ideas on television. They worked with producer Mark Burnett, who is responsible for popular shows like Shark Tank and the singing competition The Voice. NBSUniversal also collaborated with producer Lorne Michaels, who produced Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

I would choose Jurassic World because that is a movie that everyone wanted to see because they knew it would have awesome special effects. I would choose Fifty Shades of Grey because it's a book trilogy that has an enormous fan base and everyone loves seeing books come to life on the big screen. I think that NBC chose Fast and Furious 7 for Symphony Gold because of the fact that one of the main characters had died in real life and I think they assumed that everyone would go see the movie to maybe pay their respects.
