A journalist, Neal Gabler has discussed about many social issues which come from new technologies in his essay “The Social Networks”. He explains how the typical television shows and social networks affect interactions among people in daily lives. Gabler states that because of Metropolitan sprawl, social segregation, and increasing on television, American in this modern society have less friends than they did twenty years ago. In addition to this, Aaron Sorkin, a producer, in his interview mentions, “I think it's an insincere form of connection.”
