“The root of suffering is attachment. ” this quote from Buddha I think is good because Rukmani was kind of attached to her home and there was a lot of things they could have avoided if they had moved. But that doesn’t matter because they chose their path, and it had a lot of suffering but sometimes you have to suffer in able to move on. I think the worst kind of suffering is controlled because at least with natural causes you can blame it on nature.

The way Rukmani and Nathan treat each other is not always ideal and can harm their relationship. When you control what happens you start to blame yourself and that just leads to more suffering. Also arguing with others doesn’t help because then there is tension and it is
