The purpose paper is mainly going to describe the values, strengths, and interest that the author has set for herself to reach her career goals. The author will be explaining her past, present and future goals that have helped her achieve graduating high school and being able to go to college. The academic and purpose that the author has is to graduate college with her Bachelors In Science of Nursing which will help her enter the career of Neonatal Nursing.The purpose that she has is to be successful and have good financial stability. The academic values that the author has are getting good grades in school and working hard to pass every course. The personal values that she has is to look at every new obstacle or impediment in her life as a learning experience so that she will be able to look at it in an optimistic way. Another value that she has is that if she can help someone in need then the author does her best in helping them even though it might take time. The career values that the author has is to be able to complete college so that she can begin working in the nursing field. The exact career choice that the author has is to become a Neonatal Nurse. The strengths that the author has consist of Includer, Restorative, Developer, Harmony and also Consistency. Having the includer trait as a strength is good because they are accepting of others no matter where they come from and they also tend to feel bad when others are left out so they try their best to include them. Being restorative is a great strength because they are adept to dealing with problems which means that they are good at figuring out what is wrong and resolving it. Being a developer is also a good strength because they are able to see the good in others and they are always trying to help someone out. Another strength that the author has is that she enjoys harmony, this is a good strength because she always tries to be the peace maker of the group and helps resolve problems that the group might be going through. The last strength that will be mentioned is consistency which is treating everyone the same way without showing preference no matter how they different the person might be. These strengths are important to the author because many of them have helped her become the person that she is and they have allowed her to be a hard worker. The strengths that were explained will help the author fulfill her purpose because they will help her use them in her future career while treating the patients and also working with her
