Very often we see some weird news/incident when we log in any devices such as computer, PDA, Smart Phone, Play Station etc. Especially that uses internet. Hackers are randomly trying to attack those nodes in various way to get benefitted. It is very difficult for the users to protect their nodes as the hackers/cyber criminals are changing their style of attack. As internet users are increasing rapidly and doing their everyday’s jobs by using various nodes, attackers are looking chances if there any vulnerabilities in those system’s security. Since various types of attackers targetting our daily life interaction, it became a serious problem for everybody.
Several Myanmar journalists have recently received warnings from Google that their Gmail accounts may have been targets of state-sponsored attacks. After they login to their Gmail accounts, warning message,“We believe state-sponsored attackers may be attempting to compromise your account or computer” was displayed on top as shown. Google had begun the policy of notifying users of suspicious activity in June. "We are constantly on the lookout for malicious activity on our systems, in particular attempts by third parties to log into users’ accounts unauthorized." Google said in a blog post. "If you see this warning it does not necessarily.” This threat is not only for journalists, but everybody who uses email/gmail.
As I mentioned earlier that attackers are constantly changing their way of attack and targetting mobile users as the large number of users. Malwares are getting updated during the age of social networking. FortiGuard Labs researchers have discovered a new malware called 'Rodpicom Botnet' that spreads via messaging applications such as Skype and MSN Messenger. Dubbed W32/Rodpicom.A - Rodpicom Botnet sends a message to the victim with a link to a malicious site that leads to downloadable content. When the user clicks the link, the attack downloads
