I interviewed a professor which she work in the Language Center of the University of Tulsa, her name is Helen Zhang, who is also my professor was teaching by Contemplative Cinema. She was an immigrant from mainland of China to the United States for nearly 10 years.
As early as three years ago, she was successful accept an offer of employment for the University of Tulsa. For her, she hopes to promote Chinese culture through education. Such as spread the American’s culture through Movie. So, she felt very proud of this job. She could more understanding of the mother country 's culture, which is a unique sense of pride. For the future, she had no good idea, which just hoping to continue her education. She thought the most challenge in balancing work, which could not found students who had deeper opinion for cinema culture. Thus, she felt unable to took full advantage of her lecture skills, and students because they can not resonate . When I asked professor - Zhang why many students wishing to enter this course to learn, she said, many students think that the cinema class a is a very relaxed and comfortable. Such as watch a 3D movie in a theater. In fact, she think the film is a vivid realism product, which it can combine the social and characters together. She urged the students improve theirs idea which increase deep thinking. She felt my perspective so unique, which also has a deep understanding for each cinema, if I would, she could recommend some courses to
