My goals following the completion of the New Graduate Nurse Residency program would be to have gotten comfortable and confident in my role as a nurse on the unit. I will want to feel competent to deliver the standard of care expected to my patients. The New Graduate Nurse Residency Program will be a great learning experience and will help me transition into my role as a new nurse on the unit. By five years I hope to be involved in multiple committees and evidence-based practice projects to help integrate myself as a vital part of my unit and the hospital. I will also be looking to take on more leadership roles by the time I am working at Children’s Hospital Colorado for five years. I would hope to be a leader through taking on the role of charge
