New satirical essay
I knew that Ella sought,
To be popular but I never thought
It would come this far.
Everything she does seems really bizarre.
It was all normal until winter break,
This is when she decided to remake
Her image and what it entailed.
After she did this a different person was unveiled.
Now I look over to see my friend
Or someone that I used to spend
The free time I had with.
The person she used to be seems like a myth.
It was only two weeks ago,
And now she is more like a foe.
I cannot even remember
What my life was like in December.
My friend changed her whole life,
And by doing so leaving me with a knife
That is in my back.
Because the way she has been acting is so whack.
She changed her whole life as the New Year rang.

They will disappear if she does not show prosperity.
When this transformation happened
It seemed as if I was abandoned.
Never knew my friend of ten years
Could cause people so many tears?
I had to help and find a way.
I had to get her back to the Ella that used to say “hey”
I went up to her to talk some sense
Into the friend that needed less pretense.
“Hey Ella what is going on with you”
“Who do you think you are talking to?”
“Please stop this we used to be great friends”
“Not anymore this is where our friendship ends” Hurt by this conversation
I left the room with so much frustration.
I tried to make a difference
But I could not get past her ignorance.
She will not let me change her even though,
The best option is to let go
Of the new person she has become.
So that she could change the outcome.
Unfortunately she did not listen.
So you never see her smile glisten.
This is because she has no one to talk to.
Due to the fact that everyone saw right through
The phony new lifestyle
That she carried for a while.
By the time that she noticed
That everyone thought she was bogus.
It was too late
The damage was already done but wait,
She tried to come back to me.
