Nevertheless, feminist in Hip-Hop really made its mark in the third wave of feminist, by now feminism in Hip-Hop was heard of. That was when female MC’s such as lauryn Hill, Lil’ Kim, Da Brat, and Queen Latifah was making a mark for feminism in rap. These females were not afraid to talk about their sexuality. In the song “Get Money” by Junior M.A.F.I.A ft Biggie Smalls and Lil’ Kim, Lil Kim said “Rather count a million while you eat my pussy Push me to the limit, get my feelings in it Get me open while I'm cumming down your throat.” Their message was about femininity, their self worth, and sexuality while empowering their listeners. Unlike female MC’s in our contemporary moments there was no competition between these rappers, they were their own individual artist and respected the work of other female MC’s in the game.
