When I went to Chazen Museum, where I found the picture which impresses me, as a class, there were lots of art which are beautiful and attracting. Each picture has its individual style of painting, but there was one picture which caught my eyes because it seems like representing my mood. I chose that picture right away, and it was surprising that every time I see that picture, I always find new things and feels different. That picture was Tom Uttech’s “Nin Mamakadendam” drawn in 2010, the landscape with many birds and mammals. “Nin Mamakadendam” is a picture which is realistic due to color distribution. First, I found out that most of the birds and mammals are moving from east to west. Gaining information from movement of animals and the sun set, I thought this picture showed the migration of the animals and they are in a hurry because night is coming. Second thing I found out was that there was one mammal which is not moving, actually sitting on the dead tree, and facing the sun. After I see that mammal, I think he was not able to go to migrate and just feel grief for coming darkness and coldness. I was able to reflect myself on that mammal, of which everyone knew and do what they need to do, I feel myself weak and just try to blame others in order to be self-satisfied. Last, I saw many of the branches of trees are thin and curved. None of the birds are resting on the branches. This shows that all the birds are in a hurry, that they do not have any time for rest. I think bird can represent the world, which never waits me when I am resting. I think the message of this picture is chaos of the world right now, and the artist is sad when he watches the people pursued by time and never see the world even though it is really
