Even though ninth-grade is the year of transition to high school it still is a grade that doesn't come as close to importance as the twelfth grade. In freshman year you're getting accustomed with your new surroundings in high school from the eighth grade and realizing your coming of age. Although people say ninth-grade is an important year I possess a different perspective, This essay will concentrate about why I disagree with ninth-grade is important and why I think twelfth-grade is the most important year in high school. In 12th grade your starting to apply yourself, from writing college essays to filling out college applications, these things are the most important to affect your life with that also comes grades from senior year. In the article “The Truth about senior year of high school” https://www.huffingtonpost.com it states, “Colleges will require you to submit a final grade report, and poor grades senior year can keep you out of your dream college. Some colleges have even been known to rescind acceptances if your final transcript shows a sharp drop in grades.”
