The nonparental care choice that I chose is center-based care. In center-based environments, children are exposed to children in their age group daily. They learn important social skills from each other such as, interacting and playing together. Children are also exposed to a culturally diverse environment and they learn about different cultures. At our center "Play" is a critical part of the children's development.
Therefore the children will benefit from free play in the classroom, this helps with enhancing their fine/ gross motor skills.
