In Shakespeare’s play, Romeo and Juliet take many big risks throughout the whole play that can get them in huge trouble, or even killed. One of the many risks they take is liking each other and getting married. This would be normal and okay with other people but the problem with this is that Romeo and Juilet’s families have hated each other for ages and, not to mention they met on a sunday just to get married on Monday. Juliet faces huge danger when Friar Laurence tells Juliet about a potion he has that will put her to sleep for 42 hours and that it can prevent her from getting married to Paris. Friar Laurence tells Juliet the dangers of drinking the potion like never waking up or even dying but Juliet does not seem to care. Juliet simply responses to Friar Laurence’s warnings with “Give me, give me! O, tell me not of fear.” This shows that Juliet is not really thinking things straight and it's most likely because she is still really young so her brain isn't fully developed yet.

Depression is also a big thing that occurs a lot throughout the whole play.
