He was afraid whether the wound disfigured his face or not and overestimated his injury by people response and the ejected blood. In this scenario, stopping the wound from bleeding and ensure his life safety is the first aim. However, it should not be forgotten that the injury of the patient is needed to present to patients. It not only can check his consciousness by his response but he can also solve his worries on his injury. Thus, Patience can be applied on this stage to stabilize his emotion effectively, reply his questions in details and give him some reminder (do not touch the injury, do not scratch the wound). As a result, the patient can calm down by himself and let doctors do another treatment (stitching up the wound) in convenient way as the patient can hold the stable gesture.
