After Life
This movie used a lot of verbal and nonverbal signs and symbols to communicate to the movie watchers and to keep them from guessing til the end of the movie.

In the mivie, middle school teacher Anna Taylor is unhappy with her life. She appears unaffected and cold as she and her boyfriend finished having ses while he is frustrated with her lack of interest.

One night, Anna meets Paul for dinner, not realizing he is going to propose to her and ask her to move to Chicago with him for a job promotion. paul begins ambiguosly so Anna assumes the worst.

Before Paul has a chance to explain and clarify things, Anna panics, thinking he's breaking up with her. After a short argument with her in the restaurant, she storms out of the restaurant and drives off passionately. She had an accident while trying to use her cell phone and drive in the rain.

If Paul had used a different approach and had made his intentions clear to Anna, then maybe she would not have acted the way she did.

She wokes up dazed, confused and numbed. She was told by the morgue director that she is dead. His behavior implies a level of mental instability. He showed her death certificate signed by the doctor that she died on the spot.

Anna finally accepts her death. When she looked at herself in the mirror she left a fog on the mirror from herbreathing which eliot quickly wipes away with a handkerchief before she can see. This gives the movie watchers a
