By the 1800’s it was apparent that life was very different in America depending on where you lived. The North and South had very different cultures, daily lives and economical structures. The tension between the North and South were growing. Although the people in the North and South lived in the same country and had immense pride in their way of life; little did the two sides know that their differences and their deep devotion to their lifestyles would divide them further splitting the country, not knowing that they would soon be in the midst of a civil war that would have everlasting impacts.
