I am writing this letter to serve as a reference for Savannah McCart, an eighth grader at Dutchman Creek Middle School who is requesting permission to attend a school outside her jurisdiction. Savannah is a gifted student who thrives in the area of musical theatre. The school she is presently zoned to attend does not provide course work in advanced musical theatre. Therefore, her family is submitting a request to attend Northwestern High School due to the school’s integration of the advanced musical theatre program and the twice yearly production of musical theatre the school’s program offers.
