My procedure is designed to describe who, what, where, when, and why by means of establishing first generation students in support of the implementation of a policy .This information would include scholarships that is offered to first-generation students, available to them for just being a student. The first step is I must identify issues, and or opportunities for collecting data from first year generation students. . I must take steps to identify issues and opportunities and collect data and to decide what next steps to take, to do this, I must conduct an internal and external assessment to understand what first generations students go through.

From the results it seem to show that first generation students have problems with discrimination,policies, and could benefit from proactively implementing information from data collection. The next step is choosing a priority issue for first generation students and opportunities for collecting data, and then setting goals and objectives. My questions can be consider when deciding to prioritize gathering data for opportunity:I plan an approach method about who will be surveyed, and how data will be collected, the sources of data that will be used, and the duration of the data collection project, among other questions. When looking at the data i will consider who will first generation students interest be compared to? What locations or geographical areas will the data be gathered from ? The common qualitative research methods include observation, one-on-one interviews, focus groups and intensive case studies.And the potential strengths is that tells the story from the participant's viewpoint.
